Leaf lettuces

Cut-and-come-again salads and cut lettuces form a rosette of leaves but no heads and are sown more densely. They are ready for harvesting sooner and can be harvested continuously from the outside. Care should be taken during harvesting not to damage the growing stem. Alternatively, the rosette can be cultivated like a head-forming lettuce and harvested once.
