Red cabbage

White cabbage is the oldest cabbage species with worldwide distribution. Red cabbage, on the other hand, is considerably younger and less widespread Head-forming cabbages have been known in Europe since the 8th century. The number of varieties for different purposes is accordingly very high.

Amarant KS - Red cabbage

Early red cabbage, ready to harvest from mid June. Short stem with flat layered leaves. Round, smallish heads. Thanks to its fast growth can be cultivated rather late in the year, even at higher elevations.
