Mixed culture based on the Mayan Milpa system: sweetcorn as a trellis aid, runner beans for fixing nitrogen in the soil and courgettes as ground cover.
Variety-specific characteristics
| Note | Note: Sow sweetcorn indoors until about 10-15cm tall, plant from mid-May in a circle. Sow beans 5cm apart. When the beans have sprouted, sow the courgettes directly in between. |
